JAGO SWAKULA JAGO

 
After the Coffee Break at the Career Break at the Education Seminar organised by Swakula Chetana,
the stage was taken over by Raghavendra Matrubai with the topic JAGO SWAKULA.
The PPT which was prepared by SRIKANTH SHANKAR MATRUBAI mesmerised the audience.


Mr.Raghavendra Matrubai said "it is sad, but shocking truth that our community is a BIG failure".

He then asked the audience whether this was because of supposed LOW population which resulted in political class ignoring us and he himself answered saying : "NO." and gave the example of Parsis who are just 63500 in number compared to Swakula Salis whose population is 6.5 lakhs (approx).
Mr.Raghavendra then reasoned that Parsis are powerful because not only are they rich but because they are Educated.
AN EDUCATED COMMUNITY IS A POWERFUL COMMUNITY. WE NEED TO MAKE SWAKULA SALI COMMUNITY A WELL READ COMMUNITY and this Swakula Chetana organised Education Seminar is a step in that direction.







Finally, Mr.Raghavendra said,  it needs to be understood that not only education, a Good Job for every Swakula Youth is the need of the hour and hence he announced that Swakula Chetana has opened a new Group SWAKULA JOB FAIR in Facebook for the benefit of Job seekers in the Swakula Chetana community.
Mr.Raghavendra thanked Mr.Srikanth Matrubai for the PPT and for giving him the opportunity to present the same.

RAJESHWARI SARODE ON "MEMORISING FORMULAS"








Smt.  Rajeshwari Sarode picked up the topic which every Maths and Science students dread MEMORISING FORMULAS.
Smt.Rajeshwari Sarode worked as 3 yrs as lecturer,2 yrs as HOD ,1 year as Principal in SCT polytechnic
presently working as Asst.Prof  in VEMANA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY since 3  and 1/2 years.
It is a known fact that tension of just trying to remember the exact formula among a palate of formulas.

However, Students at the Swakula Chetana organised EDUCATION SEMINAR were blessed to have a galaxy of teachers and among them, Smt.Rajeshwari Sarode explained to students the easy method to remember the sticky formulas.

She said "Irrespective of your IQ and memorizing capacities, you should first remove all the fear that is stored as a tag line to these formulas"
Relax. Math and Physics problems are not meant to be studied under stress. Relax your mind. By doing this, you will be able to focus more on your task.
Writing down the formula many times also helps to remember it. So read or write the formula till it is concrete in your brain.
Write all the formulas on a sheet and stick it to the wall of your room so that whenever you look at them you will be able to remember what you have forgotten. This really works"

The students were appreciative of the tips /
 suggestions given by Smt.Rajeshwari Sarode and thanked her with huge applause.
Mrs.Rajeshwari Sarode was honoured by Smt.Mokshavati (mother of Jinde Chandrabhanu, editor of Swakula Chetana) on behalf of Swakula Chetana.

HOW TO MANAGE YOUR EXAM TIME








Sri.Shankar Sarode spoke on the MOST important topic of "how to manage time in exam hall".
Shankar Sarode said "I have observed that students, even if they know answer, spend a bit of overtime on questions in the beginning and then find they have little or no time for the other answers".
 
 Mr.Shankar Sarode said "typically an exam lasts for 180 minutes. Here's how you should divide your time:

~ 5 minutes for filling in personal data and marking the OMR sheet (175 left)
~ 5 minutes to scan the paper and plan your approach  (170 left)
~ 45 minutes at the most for your strongest section  (at least 125 left)
~ 45 minutes for the medium section (at least 80 minutes left)
~ 45 minutes for your weakest section (35 minutes left)
~35 minutes to review your test and make sure everything is in order



To sum up:

 use your reading time effectively
 allocate time according to marks available
 answer the number of questions required
 answer all multiple choice questions.
